Milestone

Milestone sessions are typically held in studio, but weather permitting can be done outdoors. The studio has plenty of outfits for both genders, and I am happy to consult on alternative outfit choices or themes. The most popular session spacing is newborn - 3 month - 6 month - 9 month - 1 year. Average milestone sessions result in 10-15 images to select from in your final, fully edited gallery.

One year sessions can be basic, with a few decorations to celebrate the occasion. If a cake smash is desired, we work together to create a custom set. This can be done by selecting specific colors, or by designing a themed set. Custom banners and props can be ordered directly through me! There are two preferred bakers we partner with for discounts on smash cakes with fondant or special designs.

Please consider the time it takes to order and mail invitations if you plan to use these images, so we will book in advance accordingly. Many one year sessions are held at the 10.5 month mark for this reason.

For the older kiddos we offer themed mini sessions throughout the year, and these are a great opportunity to celebrate a birthday in style. We love things like princess sessions, tea parties, urban shots downtown, or even super hero sessions!
